As an aside, one of my relatives watched an episode of The Magic Roundabout at the Glastonbury festival a few years back. Shortly after eating a large amount of Brownies with a certain special ingredient. He still claims to this day that it was the most frightening thing he's ever seen in his life.
As for my own view of the show, to quote Gary from Men Behaving Badly "You know The Magic Roundabout? What the hell was that all about?". I still loved it though. Maybe we should start a thread for talking about old kids shows. Bod or Bagpuss anyone?

Someone started a thread about it in the NZ forum a while back, I think it was the most exciting thing that's happened to them for a while, it was very popular. It's worth a try

It is the same movie released a year ago in the UK as "The Magic Roundabout", it was going to be release here as "Sprung! The Magic Roundabout", not sure why but now its just "Doogal". They changed the spelling of the name from Dougal too. Its full of celeb voices, didn't get a good write up but looks like it would be worth watch.
