From what my OH said you can't fly directly from Harrisburg Intl to the UK, you have to connect via another US or Canadian airport.
Sorry you get an essay there

Another one in MD, Baltimore. THere's loads of UK folks round this way.
For you folks posting about flying from MD. BA does fly from Heathrow to BAltimore once a day, not especially cheap, but not outrageous either. At Xmas we paid about $1700 round trip for two (This is Xmas remember).
Flights from Dulles can be cheaper, and Virgin fly from there too, but in our case , we're very close to BWI and can get a taxi for $10, (parking is $9 a day in the cheap spots), so there's always things like that to consider.
A pretty cheap alternative is to fly Icelandair to Rekjavik (sp?) and change there to go to the UK. It's pretty cheap but obviously takes a few hours longer.....

In fact I met more people while I was in CA than I have here on the east coast.
I'm in Newark DE, anyone close???

I know Gorse Covert (one of the new town areas). It's about 5 miles from where I used to live. I used to go to a gym at the former UKAEA site just up the road from there.
Are you really from God's own country - that's what my wife calls it, she's also from that funny place .
Small world isn't it.

Small world, yes it certainly is. About 12 yrs ago we were waiting in line for the elevator at the Eiffel Tower and in front of us were a group of school kids. My husband said that they had a Warrington accent, so I asked them what school they were from and it turned out my sister was their teacher.
