We have a dear friend who was involved in a rather serious car accident and was hoping to send some booze to him obviously once he is well enough. flowers and balloons he has a plenty.
Now we're in NZ so have no idea of shops that would be able to deliver for us and also accept us purchasing from here.

Any ideas? thanks in advance

Sorry to hear about your friend's accident. It would help narrow things down a bit if you could be more specific about what country he's in, and if it's the US, what state! You haven't given any clues!

Scott and Lafayette are in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. I don't live there but I know someone who works there... let me see if I can get in touch with them today.

This online wine merchant can ship wine to Louisiana but not spirits. http://www.klwines.com/default.asp Based on what I know about the Lafayette area, it might be difficult to find any shipper that will ship spirits. If I had to visit our facility out there I'd take him a bottle of something myself (I like Lafayette), but I have no trips there slated this month.

ahh looks like we might have to take a big hit on import tax as his favourite tipple is Tequila.
long hard road to recovery by all accounts and rather touch and go earlier last week but making some progress now it appears.
