Anyone LA/MS?

Hi All,
Just wanted to introduce myself as a Brit now living in Mississippi near the Louisiana border. Anyone else in the area wishing to swap stories, tips on life here etc, would love to hear from you. Now to mow the yard in 100 degree heat, lol!!!!!!!!
