Anyone else had fuel stolen from tank?
Just came back from our two thousand mile trip Florida to Maryland and back. Stayed over in Georgia last night and filled up before we booked into motel. This morning we were on empty again. Apparently the petrol cap locks after approx 10 mins. Anyone else had this happen?

Hell no. In Jersey they would never waste time stealing your gas..they'd just take your whole car.
Incidently, Camden beat out Detroit as most dangerous city this year! Woo! Oddly enough, i have the most dangerous city, and a city named as 5th "safest" within the same short driving distance. Gotta love Jersey.

But i guess they don't think! So not only were the little bastards stealing your fuel but f**king up your fuel tank too! makes you wonder sometimes!

Do you know why there is a 10 min. delay activating the lock?

Siphoned in the US, back in the USA ... ?
no, can't say I have, my old Lincoln doesn't have a lockable cap, but is fitted with an internal device that makes it hard to siphone gas from its tank. But some nice chappie siphoned something called "petrol" from my Vauxhall Back in the UKK, back in the UKK ... back in the UK. The worst thing about this was, the nice chappie who stole this petrol stuff didn't put the "petrol cap" back on my car and it rained Back in the UKK, back in the UKK ... back in the UK. With no petrol cap some water got into the "petrol tank" and my car just would not start Back in the UKK, back in the UKK ... back in the UK. Did I mention that it rained, Back in the UKK, back in the UKK ... back in the UK?
Back in the US, back in the USA ... now I can't get that Bruce Springsteen line out of my head ... Back in the US, back in the USA ... . Still, it beats the Weather Girls line It's Raining Men! Hallelujah! ... Back in the US, back in the USA ... It's Raining Men! Hallelujah! ... then again, perhaps not.

If you go just over the river to the Seaport Museum, you'll see the Police Task Force Portacabins, where they've been camped for a year, nipping over to Camden doing raids.
