I'm off. However, the company I work at, does observe MLK, the company I work for does not. Therefore I have to take a float day, as I will have to for presidents day in february.

Hah! I wish it were a holiday but law firms generally don't observe it even though all the state and federal offices, including the courts, are closed.

Our law firm is closed. It is also closed for all holidays with the exception of the Jewish holidays, Columbus and Veteran's Day. One of those we give up to have Friday after Thanksgiving off. Also will have a two day holiday for the July 4th holiday this year.

We have 10 holidays this year on top of my 29.5 days of vacation and 12 days of personal/sick time.
