Thanks Paco for posting that. I try not to call everyday cause really there is no point but it's hard & I am already nuts, crazy, you name it. LOL Once I know our petition is approved I will feel a bit better cause we got that over & done with just have to worry bout the rest.

I am at day 47 & waiting. I hope mine doesnt go into the 70-80 days mark.

Yes, called today, and it was approved July 5th. It took 81 days.

Yes, 81 days to get hotline approval. Then got the paper conformation a week later.

I talked to an Immigration Information Officer this morning. I really don't know
why they call them that. At first he said 10-14 days and then a week before they
would get to our petition. We submitted on 5-2-2002 to Nebraska. Today is the 75th
day. He also said that they were working on petitions submitted 4-22-2002. He also
said that was as of the 1st of July. If anyone else has information please share
it. Also antsy.

What was your time line so that some of us can atleast get an Idea when we can expect
and news. IE. date sent, 1st NOA and date for 2nd NOA Thanks My Fiance and I have
been waiting 75 days now

Day 83 and we're still waiting We've been waiting since April 24th. From what I've
seen on the newsgroup, it sounds like they've been on April 22nd for the past week!
Things are just getting slower and slower...

I have the same timeline... 1st NOA May 2nd.. and am still waiting for my I-129F
approval. Its nice to hear that someone in Nebrasks has a pulse.

Antsy doesn't begin to describe it.

I-129F sent 04/06/02 NOA1 receipt date 04/12/02 NOA2....????

Well, day 102.... I phoned on Friday, day 98, and they just said the petition has
gone past one officer and was in security checks and they didn't know how long it
would take or if it would have to go to an officer again. I asked if this meant I
wouldn't get a RFE but they couldn't guarantee that. They said the 70-100 days quoted
in the NOA1 and automated phoneline weren't true and was out of date (post 9/11).

I pointed out that they were meant to be working on petitions of April 19-22.

I don't really understand why the security checks are taking so long. Are they
checking out the USC? If so this may be the problem as I am a dual citizen (UK and
US) and have only been living in the US for 9 months (hence the UK fiance)but I work
for the US government so they should have all my details as I've already been through
these security checks for my job.

I guess I'll just wait and see and give a call at the end of the week again.

Oh and my fiance phoned NSC from England but the "officer" said they couldn't speak
to him only me...is this correct?

Jeez this is ridiculous taking all this time. Who knows now when mine will get approved. Just crazy how long these security checks take. That is peer BS you could still get an RFE. You sit all these month waiting & then they throw at ya sorry you have an RFE. I am really worried I will get one & at day 63. Looks like I have more waiting time to go thru. Just depressing...
