Anybody got into American sports?
I live in London with my American husband. He is a big Red Sox fan. He plays a lot of games on his Playstation (which he brought over from the US) and we also watch games on Channel 5. He keeps up with the latest scores on the Sox' website.
I have gotten quite into watching baseball (I was never into footie or cricket) and even been to Fenway Park to see a game with my hubby. I think I'd like to see a Boston Bruins hockey game too (hubs has hockey on Gamecube). It looks interesting and very fast moving.
Bought Mark a signed photo of Pedro Martinez on eBay last night!!

Really got into American Football thanks to the Carolina Panthers and their current run.
Never experienced so much drama in one game !
Because of all the stoppages for flags, out of bounds etc, it plays out like a chess game.
Watched some baseball but it is like cricket - long, slow and should not be watched sober.

I love American sports. I've been to football, hockey and baseball games since coming to AZ, and ESPN is on all the time in our house, or at least it is when I can wrestle the remote away from my Judge Judy loving wife I was heavily into American sports way before I moved here though. I used to play American football in Cambridge.

Go fast, turn left!
I love NASCAR, but then I was something of a fan even before I met my (now) wife, or ever even visited the USA. Living in Charlotte is just about perfect for me - it's NASCAR central!
I 've been to three races so far this year, including the last Labor Day running of the Southern 500, and I have one more race still to look forward to this year.
