Default any one got their green card recently?

Hi
I have been in the states 4 weeks - I was wondering even though it says you have to wait 1 year for the official green card ( I have a spousal visa) Is it normally sooner than that??

Thanks

Gill

If you arrived based on an I-130 visa (not k-3), then you will probably receive your
green card inside of 3 months. YOu should have a passport I-551 stamp to hold you
until you get the real card.
