Any nurses recently moved to USA?

Hey there,

I moved to Pennsylvania in July 2018. Finally have my EAD so can legally work. I worked as a specialist oncology and palliative care nurse for over ten years in the UK. Was wondering if anyone here has taken the NCLEX and what company you went through to have all your documents accredited? Many thanks.

Look up Sarasota chick .... she was able to come to the US about 2 years ago as a nurse. Also there is a US Nursing forum under the job header further down the opening page to the main listing of forums.

Hi . A company that I used to get my transcript and Nursing Diploma assessed is CGFNS. Look them up online. They get things done....eventually! And you can use the same documents to get your Visascreen certificate. Hope this information helps

Check out requirements for International Educated Nurses on the state board of nursing website. That should list what you need to do. Be aware you will need your transcripts sending from where you trained to whichever agency is required to assess them be it CGFNS or other accepted company
