Any Luck Getting Passport at DC Embassy?
I am one of those stuck in the limbo of the passport application process via the Washington, DC Embassy. Anyone had any luck making the appointment and going in person to get Emergency Travel Documents? Fortunately we live close to the Embassy, but I don't want to spend the whole day there if it's a futile effort.

Here is the thread that is currently running about the delay with passports. If you read through the last few pages you will see that others have shared info on their experience of obtaining the Emergency Travel doc.
