Hi,
I cannot help with Middlesbrough, as I am in London. However, your fiance could get his ADIT photos done on the day of his medical/interview. There are some specialist photographers close by the US Embassy, try using this link:

Good luck

I don't recommend this. It may have worked for mickyboy, but INS rules
explicitly say that photo booth photos are no longer acceptable. Others in
this thread have given you better advice.
Mickyboy, if yours slipped through you are very lucky.

Hmm do you have a link to that Melissa?
I have the following off the London Embassy web site
For non immigrant Visa (DS156)
http://www.usembassy.-
org.uk/cons_web/visa/niv/photo.htm
for Immigrant Visa (DS230)
-
http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_web/visa/iv/docs169.htm#Two%20Color%20Photo
graphs
I think your confusion is where the US Passport Photo specs specify the
following..
http:-
//www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_web/acs/passports/renewal.htm#passport
Those passport photo dimensions are far outside the specs for the Visas..
Hopefully, that clears things up..
Personally I have some really hi res Colour camera photos on HP Glossy paper
AND I spend £3.99 at a local photographer for an "instant" type 4 square..
with the GREY (acceptable) backing not the black which is unacceptable
according to the ADIT specs ..

I think it's a bit "hit and miss" to use just passport photos, as someone said they are outside the spec.
I was in Coventry and places like Supersnaps will do them and they are a national company so may have one in M'boro.
I got my done in Snappysnaps (I'm not sure if they are National) Showed the photographer the INS instructions and he did them exactly to that spec, I think they were about GBP15.
If your fiancee is going to London the day before, which is probable from M'boro then there are 4 reccomended places in the packet 4 instrustions that are all close to the Embassy, although if he is like me he wouldn't want to leave it to the last minute.
Good luck
