Dont worry mate you only have to make an effort on those kinds of anniversaries for the first 2 or 3 years then they fade from memory. They're a bullshit anniversary anyway.

"Oh Tarquin...todays the 4th anniversary of the first time you looked into my eyes and called me "Fiffy Bunny" FFS

Nah it is in his yahoo calendar for never ending reminders! To a gal no anniversary is a bullshit anniversary, we want pressies or at least dinner out!

He better never call me fiffy bunny either!

Ooh, glad to hear there are some Brits in Kentucky, American hubby and I are working to move back to the US next year and plan to live in Louisville. Neither of us have been there, but here it is a nice city and a good place to bring up kids (we have two toddlers). Interesting to hear there are British food options too...

Hey just saw this thread. We're just outside Louisville..living in La Grange. I'm a Louisville native, and my hubby is from Scotland.

My English hubby finds it very nice and friendly. Yes there are places to find items, you just have to know where to look. To be a small city it really isn't bad.

Tell him to look at k-force, they do some of Kindreds hiring, and it is one of the top rated places to work in the state. Note they love the hubbies accent I am sure the gals wouldn't mind one more around the office. Tim is also the project manager in the IT department there They are always in need of help in that department.

P.S If he can get his resume going with K-force let me know. I will get Tim on trying to get him in for an interview in his department.

****ing-A great! He's been doing a commute 4 days a week to his job in Cincy, and it's getting beyond a joke. Took him 3 hours to get home Monday and Tue. with all the rain (and what with dealing w/bridge traffic). I can only imagine what it would be like if it was snow. He's got a phone interview today and another on Monday.

I'll let him know to send his resume out to K-force. I know he's looked at positions for them before, but the idea of doing contractural work is a bit of a danger, and he hasn't applied to any of them. Or is K-force more of a direct-to-hire type positions?
