I had a letter to the editor published today(sat) about Governor Napolitano's visit to the U.K. in November.

I was interviewed by the Republic a couple of weeks ago in connection with my attempt to sell my web site -- www.johnedwards.net. They never ran the article, though.

A reporter for the Republic was working on a piece for the custom home builder my wife works for around the time we were going through the early stages of immigration. She wanted to do an artical on us, but ended up leaving the paper.

Yo Pimpbot, I would never have figured you for a Simon. My FIL does this all the time back in Scotland, he almost makes a living from it. He has won a ton of money and prizes, even airline tickets to anywhere in the world but the stupid old sod is too afraid to fly, what a waste.

So Simon, you're from Cambridge like me? Were you born there?

I was born there. Last place I lived, was just off Milton road between the Milton Arms pub and the Golden Hind pub. Its funny, because I bought an apartment on what was Tindals(sp) farm, which about 15 years earlier, my brother and his friends had built a BMX track on. lol

That's funny ... that's what I was thinking as well ... about the 'Simon', I mean. That's what jumped out at me immediately ...
Anyway, back to the query ... no, don't take the Arizona Republic, but buy it occasionally. Read it online sometimes, if I've time after reading the online versions of The Scotsman (http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/), Scotland on Sunday (http://scotlandonsunday.scotsman.com/), Glasgow Herald (http://www.theherald.co.uk/), Edinburgh Evening News (http://edinburghnews.scotsman.com/), Stornoway Gazette (http://westernislesonline.co.uk/), BBC Scotland News(http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/default.stm) and BBC News (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/default.stm) New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/), The Times (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/) (though I refuse to subscribe - if other papers, like the NY Times that probably have an even larger circulation can offer an online edition without asking for payment, then so can The Times!) and some other foreign papers ... Die Zeit (http://www.zeit.de/), Izvestiya (http://www.izvestia.ru/) .. and that 'll take a few minutes out of the day!
Oh, there I've done it again ... lost track of the thread ... oh, yes. Good letter, Simon! good points you make. So you're a published writer now, eh?
