Default Any 16 year olds in Florida High School ?

Hey there all.
just recently arrived from the UK and living in St Petersburg ( love it here ) I’ve been battling the local high school to get my son accepted into high school as he completed his GCSES.
im looking for him to start the local CC, in January, however my question to you is.
Has anybody here on this forum had their child accepted into high school AFTER completing their GCSE at age 16. In particular I’m looking for Florida but any other examples of what happened, what are they studying ie dual enrollment/AP that would be great.
Thank you so much in advance.

CC = Community college? If so typically that is for people who have graduated high school and over the age of 18. Confused as in January your kid will be 16/17?

Sounds like he needs to do junior and senior year here at a high school. Would be the equivalent of getting his AS/A levels in the UK.

I was going to say that someone else posted on this exact same problem recently and perhaps they could help you, but in looking up the thread, I see that poster was you! Did you check all the responses you received?
