Another year, another day in court!
My how time flies! 4.5 years of court, hopefully next Valentines Day will be bloody nice to us!
Hopefully our judge will be able to finally make a decision one way or the other on my AOS.
Oh! We are 7 months pregnant as well! We put our lives on hold long enough!
Cheers!

Congratulations Mr and Mrs CC
Here's hoping that your judge has reached a favorable decision in your case. Nothing nicer than put that new shiny card in your wallet so that you can start counting the years until application of naturalization.

Thanks!
Although I can do most everything most people do... Work, pay taxes, go shopping... there are some things that most take for granted, that are not available to me. Like traveling.
It would be nice to be able to fly to Hawaii, or to Canada to see our families.
(I know Hawaii technically you never leave the USA... Unless your flight gets redirected!) I fear flying anywhere near any border.
We so wanted a family, but the great unknown and the expense of defending myself from deportation made having a family, a luxury we could only dream about. With my wife nearing 40, we finally decided that we were running out of time.
We are feeling confident this time, again, that we can move forward! What else can one do?
We both have great jobs, a nice home, no debt and a baby on the way. If they deny again... Sheesh, they can't! It would make no sense at all!

Hawaii really is safe. The flight paths don't go anywhere near any country other than the US (unless you fly direct from the East coast). Even in the incredibly unlikely event that the flight were diverted to Canada or somewhere, you'd just be sequestered along with everyone else in the 'foreign' side of the airport until a replacement aircraft came along. You'd never go through Canadian immigration, nor US immigration later on. It's standard airline procedure for foreign diversions of domestic flights. I don't know why this myth persists on immigration web forums.
I hope your court date goes well!

Thanks for the good wishes all. We are optimistic that this can finally be put behind us.

Re: Another year, another day in court!
Judge was satisfied with everything we produced 15 days ago, that she asked for last year and was planning on approving. Gov atty didn't show, sent a colleague in his place asking for a continuance. But, he didn't submit anything new 15 days ago. This is the same as last time. He didn't submit in advance and surprised everyone causing the one year delay. Judge wasn't happy then. Want happy today. Judge is reviewing last years trial to see if missing anything a d we go back this afternoon for a ruling.

Judge obviously doesn't want to send this to appeal and did us a big favor. Seriously though, this stinks.
