We had to provide quite a few for our daughter (thought it was ridiculous until I went in to help one day) but we got a 4 or 5 back at the end of year.

We could wait in the car park....park and walk to the door to pick up our kids and have a chat...or drive up for them...
mostly my son walked home...the joy of living in a small town and near the school...its only a mile or so away...
