Another K-1 wedding question...

Has anyone here done the walk-in AOS thing at the Dallas INS office? If so, what evidence of being married did you take in with you? Was it the marriage certificate or the signed license?
I ask as we want to get married on a Saturday, and try to get the AOS thing done on the Monday after but this is a puzzle. To get a marriage certificate, don't you have to send/take the license to the country clerk and wait for the "proper" certificate to get sent on in the mail - or can we use the countersigned license as proof of marriage for the AOS session?
We are actually in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, so we can easily get to the INS office.

You need the marriage certificate. It is unlikely that it will be possible for you to marry on a Saturday and file AOS the following Monday. For the quickest results, take the paperwork to the courthouse yourself, and ask for expedited processing.
