We need to stop the Amish from getting a weapon of mass beard destruction.

The BBC link does not work.

The Los Angeles Times just had an article on Weird Al.

It's funny that in the BBC story, they refer to the Amish as a "tiny sect." Just in our neck of the New York woods, there are thousands of them, and each couple has eight or ten children.

The BBC link now works. Forcible cutting of beards has happened in Europe.

See this pic.

Thousands of them here in Ohio - not too far from me. In fact, I believe the largest Amish population may be here in Ohio or our next door neighbor Pennsylvania.

You are right; 2010 Amish population figures (states with an Amish population of over 10,000)

IN - 43,710
MI - 11,350
NY - 12,015
OH - 58,590
PA - 59,350
WI - 15,360

Total US Amish population is now approx 250,000, more than doubled since 1991. (Amish Population Trends 1991-2010; Twenty-Year Highlights)

She said there was faeces everywhere and it looked like the dogs had no access to any food or water.

It wasn't Amish who ran it, but still, its disgusting and PA has IIRC no laws prohibiting what you do with animal remains, so they could basically just throw all the dead animals in the fields. I don't understand why the ASPCA can't shut these bastards down.

And people are worried about Hispanics breeding like rabbits.

What are we going to do when everyone needs to press 1 for German, or when there are reserved "buggy" spaces at the mall, or when our women have to wear beards?

We do have reserved buggy & horse spaces at the local shopping centers and malls. Seeing the horses waiting patiently in the parking lot at Walmart always reminds me of my father.. he used to keep a shovel and a bucket in the boot of his car, so he could purloin any horseshit he saw in the road. He'd have had a field day over here!
