Go to the AMEX site and look through their cards. Some have no annual fee, others have a fee. But as Tonrob's Travelling cheaply thread notes, some annual fees can be wiped out by the benefits of those cards.

I went with the everyday card which has no fee. Overtime I will apply for cards with fees/benefits but first up I just wanted a card.

Just as an aside, I think it sucks how Gold card holders can add another member at NO COST (VERY useful for a whole manner of things, including regular 4square offers) yet the Platinum card charges $125 to add another card holder. That's a real rip off imo.

Just looked at my AMEX in the UK and it looks like you can do it online?

I got my everyday card yesterday. It's see through/clear. It's the most ridiculous looking card I have seen. But I just bought a 65" TV with it so I am not complaining.

I have the blue cashback card, no annual fee and they gave me back $300 last year.
