Every time it is remade it is ruined. Just show the original.

Yeah, but they had ricky write the scripts for the US version, he said he didn't care if they were crap because he was getting paid shit loads, and the original was a success so he didn't care about the remake...

not so much BAD.. more sorta.. well.. i dunno.. surreal.. so similar.. yet different.. ah well. i have series 1&2 of the british version on dvd here so never mind

Eventually, TV peeps will realise that a fab show in one country doesn't mean that rewriting it 'so the jokes are understood' will make it fab show in another. I still cringe at the memory of the US version of 'Men Behaving Badly' - blegh!!
