I think it's all and only to do with the way the votes go. Cowell said to Scott to pack your bags so he had people feel sorry for him. Sometimes, the voting for the others Im guessing is because people are complacent when they hear a good singer - thining they'll get enough vote.

Bottom line, it's ll because FOX strings it out so looonggg.. and the winner or bottom 2 or 3 are normally right. To get there though from the top 10, the order of elimination is sometimes wrong, that' all.....

You know Scott isn't that great when even HE looks stunned that he wasn't voted off.

This whole thing reminds me of high school when the senior class would have to nominate and vote for Prom King and Queen, and inevitably someone would nominate the geeky-ist/fattest/most awkward guy for Prom King and he would win because it would be funny to see him have to get up in front of everyone and slow dance with pretty Miss Popular -- and step all over her feet, of course.

In this case Scott just keeps getting voted through because people know he sucks and they think it's funny that he's still on the show while much, MUCH better singers like Nadia and Anwar are gone.

Scott does look like a bulldog licking piss off a thistle, but his voice can sound pretty good at times, he just cannot seem to make it last through a whole song. He need's a singing coach and some liposuction and maybe some plastic surgery.

his voice is untrained thats all....with the right training his voice would blow you away....I was trained for 6 years....some of the songs he has done are not easy.....but why should he be thinner????.....I think he's great as he is....
