Dear Experts this is my situation:


I was born in Germany 20 years ago to a German mother and have German citizenship.

My father (was) a US citizen (not in the armed forces) who passes away 3 months prior to my birth and my parents where not married and my father is not my (official) father now.

My US grandparents supported me financially for the last 20 years and left me a trust fund and in there will i was called there grandson, they passes away both a few years ago

My father was a born US citizen and lived in the US for the first 30 years of his life.

i do have 2 (half)siblings in the US who would be willing to undergo DNA testing if that would help.

Can i claim US citizenship on the basis that my father was a US citizen ?

Or should i go to court over it ? will i stand a chance ?
