Default Alternative to Making work pay credit (Schedule M) for 2011 Tax Returns?

We are in the middle of filing our tax returns and were wondering if anyone knows if there is an alternative to Schedule M (Making work pay credit) when filing for 2011 Tax-returns this year?

That credit expired. It was good while it lasted, though.
