Affidavit of Support & recent bankruptcy

Hello,

I was wondering: if a US citizen filed for bankruptcy in 2001, will it influence in some way the Affidavit of Support and issuance of fiance visas for me? He is meeting the 125% poverty level requirement now. Could we have any problems with that? He was married at the time he filed for bankruptcy.

They will not check his credit, so the bankrupcy will have no effect.
