Default Advise on shipping please

Hi all,

My first post here. Wish I had found this site sooner, but nevermind

Anyways, I have been living in Christchurch for the last 3 years, on a temporary visa. It's time for me to go back to the UK now, but in 3 years, I have accumulated a lot of stuff, some of which I don't really want to sell.

What has everyone else done with regards to sending stuff back to the UK? I dont have enough stuff to fill even a small container, but I do have some things (like a computer, a bike, lots of clothes/bedding etc), which I would prefer to take back to the UK with me, rather than selling/binning.

Can anyone recommend any good international shippers? Or is someone sending back a container that might have a small space left over in, that I may purchase

Many thanks in advance!

Carlos

I don't have much stuff at all. Probably about a cubic meter in all.

Rang a moving co. today - got quoted $1000-1200 for 1 cubic meter... Seems a bit steep to me

Just noticed your in NZ, sorry i moved to sydney. We paid about £390.00 for just under a cubic meter with a company called movecorp, they seem the best in terms of rates and service but are based in the uk. I just skyed a friend in NZ, they used this company and give good reviews.
