advice needed. student. affidavit of support
 

i am still a student, usc, and have a fiance that i met in the philippines while i was studying there. i am in the process of filling out the k1. as for the affidavit of support, how do i fill it out if i have never had a job because i've been in school all my life. i do have money in the bank, but it's my savings and it does meet the poverty line. i know i need a cosponsor. i don't want to ask my parents for reasons that i know they will use it as an excuse to butt in our lives, though i do live with them for the moment. my fiance suggested we use his relative who is a permanent resident of the us. is this possible? any input is truly appreciated. thanks

Yes, it is possible. Any US citizen or US resident who has a US address and
income/assets to meet the requirements can be your sponsor, be it family or friend:
