Advice anyone?
 

I was wondering if anyone is in or has been in this situation in the last few months.

Long story short waiting for the conditions to be removed on my green card. Had my fingerprints done almost 3 months ago and havent heard anything since. My USCIS info/case number is not showing anything online in fact is not even recognised. Shouldn't i be hearing something by now. Even just a hey, how you doing would be nice.

Am i paranoid? anyone?

You should expect 12-18 months for I-751 adjudication; it's just not that important to them (more like, they have alot of other stuff on and this is a lower priority).
You've had your fingerprints done so you know you are in the system. Now, nothing. You'll get a request for more info, an interview letter, or, most likely, an approval notice + new card.

If you start getting close to the end of your one-year extension, you can go to your local office for an I-551 stamp. Make sure you always have current proof of status. You can travel or be hired into a job with what you've got, and you can apply for naturalization when the time comes, if you want.

It's just a detail right now. :)

yeah, a few weeks is nothing....time to worry would be in 18 months time :D

Thanks guys. One more thing, am i able to apply for my citizenship while waiting? or do i have to wait for the outcome first?

my I-751 took over a year to complete
