Advantages/disadvantages of US citizenship
We are seriously considering USC but would love to hear your views on the subject.

Advantages: No more BCIS (ex INS)
Disadvantages: You have to actively swear loyalty to a State, which can be quite tough, depending on how one views the actions around the world of that State.

Not sure as yet whether to go for citizenship, still have almost 2 and half years before I can anyway, and somedays I'm not sure I'll make it that long 
But one major advantage to me personally, is the fact that I have a daughter from a previous relationship who obviously doesn't have automatic citizenship like her younger brothers. If I became a USC then it would give her the same options as her siblings. I think that makes some kinda sense even though it was a bit of a ramble?

Its just a bunch of words - I wouldn't worry about that too much. Dealing with the BCIS is reason enough to decide to get citizenship for me. I might do it this year. The right to vote is the main other reason, and I guess it's a bit harder to get deported?
