The ad is advertising tourism in California, not immigration. The giveaway is the website address of VISITcalifornia.com.

I wasn't talking about the ad with the clips from the films. Apologies if the original post was not "correct grammar" and there were a few typos, but I really don't think people need to be so harsh. If the ad is about visiting why does the ad and the website have sections about working in CA? That is all i was asking!

What is the website's URL?

That ad has shots of locations with titles of films across then i.e. a shot of Alabama with 'Sweet Home Alabama' on it, then one of Las Vegas with 'viva Las Vegas' written across it, etc, etc, and then at the end it says something like 'You've seen the movies, now visit the sets'. Or words to that effect.
But the ad that the op was talking about is a different one, it's promoting Californian tourist and is a bit of a play on words about working i.e. 'board meetings' and then a shot of snowboarders etc. It's very clearly about holidaying there though, not sure how anybody can think it's about working there!
Hope that has helped - clearly, I watch waaaay too much tv!!

Dogbyte you were not the person i thought was harsh. I do not know of the url for the ad, but its basically Arnie and a bunch of people talking about working in CA. But the website is visit CA so that was the reason for my confusion. As a Brit who has once lived in CA, and have since found it hard to get back in after giving away the opportunity of a lifetime, i was wondering if they had slackened INS laws allowing Brits more ease to work there, hence my original question.

The USA forum has a bit more of a bite to it than the NZ one. I think this is because there are many more people on this one who just ended up in the US rather than planned to emigrate here. Moreover, the US is one of the most difficult to emigrate to unless you fit into a niche, and posters get fed up of fielding questions from those who haven't a hope then get pissy when they're so told. Surprisingly enough, these people often have bad grammar and written presentation, too.

OK. I think I found the video the OP saw. It's viewable on this page:
http://www.visitcalifornia.com/
The video's in the bottom righthand corner. It's a play on words that the OP misunderstood. The visuals definitely indicate coming to California for vacation, not work.
