Is this an acceptable passport picture?
I got some done at Walgreens but the background came up blueish. So I did the above pics at home, what do you think? Will they pass?

blank image.
If it follows the guide, it'll pass.
Many here did their own photo's, follow the requirements and get something like http://www.epassportphoto.com/ to lay them out to spec and then print them at Target, or where ever is nearest.

They look fine but huge, will they come out the right size when you print them?

It looks to me as if some editing has taken place at the (your) left, between the neck and ear, That has potential for a problem.

Edit: It might look like that because it is a small picture and too low resolution to blow up to the size posted here without going all pixelated and soft around the edges.

Looks fine there, perhaps a tad bright. When it's printed at home and then scanned, it often won't pass as it will come out too pixelated.

Go to the Post Office where they are able to take the pictures with all the correct coloring, sizing etc etc.
Its all part of their passport processing service.

Bloody expensive though and the post office will only really get it right for a US passport pic.
