Of-230 / Ds-230
I have just received package 3 from the Embassy in London.
On the instructions/checklist form I am told to complete and return form OF-230 part ! immediately.
Unfortunately the form supplied is DS-230 Part 1.
Is this an error or should I just return the form supplied?
Rob

Re: Of-230 / Ds-230
It's the same form.
The DS replaced the OF
Don't send in part 2, you take that with you to the interview
(in fact they do send it to you in packet 4)
Good luck

DS-230 is the replacement for OF-230, you should go ahead and submit it. Good luck.

Re: Of-230 / Ds-230
DS 230 is the one you need. I believe that the OF forms are now outdated. You might
have gathered by now that some of the information (or non information) that you
receive officially can be very misleading. It appears they have updated and renamed
the forms, but not the instructions themselves. Another interesting point, I had my
interview in London on Monday, and a very large notice states that " 2001 tax returns
WILL be needed" I had kittens, as I had been lead to believe I didnt need them, only
a letter from my fiance's company stating how much he earned, and a few of his recent
payslips. The 2001 tax returns must be for other visas, bacause I wasnt asked for
them. But it would have been nice to be a bit more specific on that notice. Those of
us sitting in that waiting area must have been sweating it
