I spent the morning filling out new hire forms for my new job and only turned on the tv a little while ago. I can't even begin to imagine the fear and chaos of that kind of situation. I don't tear up easily, but I did over some of the images...esp that guy with his leg gone. I hope they can find and capture these bastards quickly. My heart and thoughts go out to those caught in this tragedy.

Very sure it's home grown according to my readings by people that work closely in terrorists intelligence.

Having said that a Saudi national has been arrested.

I'd be surprised to hear it was foreign terrorists. The day, the time, the place, all point to morons educated from American history textbooks and indoctrinated with libertarian-anarchist scare memes. I've seen it coming for a long time, super-"patriotic" scum who think it's time to "make a stand". The only thing that surprises me is that they didn't buy advertising.

My gut feeling is that it will turn out to be domestic. If there were several devices I don't know whether this would make it less likely to be a lone nutjob, although that guy in Oslo had a reasonably sophisticated plan.
