19 days to departure!

19 days to departure!
Hi All,
So here we are surprisingly calm with less than 3 weeks to go before we leave for Florida on our L1/L2's. House up for let (no bites yet), car on ebay (failed to sell in week 1, dropped the price and trying again) and beginning process of clearing the loft. Got to think about changes of address etc this week and lots of jobs to get ticked off the list. Found homes for most electrical items, surprised family had not considered the important need before for a spare sky box or spare microwave, or one of 3 oil filled electric radiators etc! Luckily for us we are doing a dawn 'flit' leaving our family to supervise packing of our wordly goods etc, that is a big help. Hopefully they will not slip the 'spare' microwave into our 40ft container!
Soon the goodbyes start, that we are not looking forward to.
Cannot help think this is the quiet before the storm in terms of activity.
On arrival in Florida we have a hotel for a few nights but we plan to get into our house (which we are already paying rent on) as soon as possible so first job day 1, buy some beds with next day delivery as if we can do that we can start living in our house even if we are 'camping' indoors until our container arrives.
Would really like to fast forward 5 weeks to get this bit done to be honest, sort of feel that I have just reached the peak of a roller coaster which is about to fall very quickly indeed vertically!
