16yo son visiting US permanent resident
I am a UK citizen, US permanent resident.
In October I intend to fly to the UK for a few days and return to the US with my 16yo UK citizen son who will then stay for a week or two, then return to the UK on his own. Are there any pitfalls in this plan? If he decides he wishes that in the future he would like to visit me once or twice a year is there a visa he should apply for? tia |

Can't see why you would think there would be any pitfalls?
All he does is come in on a Visa waiver if he's only staying a week or two at a time...even month or two twice a year, come to that. |
Re: 16yo son visiting US permanent resident
My kids have visited me from the UK for the last 7 years with no problems at all. We used the Unaccompanied Minor (UA) program with the airlines so they were well looked after and never had any problems with immigration in all that time.
Kids definitely benefit from travelling my teens are now confident world travellers :) |
