i have a very good 110v mixer drill that has the yellow round plug for a transformer to british building site work.
I'd like to bring it with me, can i just change the plug in the u.s or wont the drill work anyway. |
Re: 110v drill
you will just need it re-corded as the us 110v plugs are different.
thanks:thumbsup: |

Re: 110v drill
It'll run 20% faster for the same setting but other than that, it should work ok with a new plug.

Re: 110v drill
I brought mine with me when I came here in the 70s, and it worked fine. I still have it, but I hardly ever use it, as I use cordless ones now. Frequency here is 60 Hz.
