Default 1099 vs. W2 for E2

Does US Immigration give greater credit for salaries paid via W2 that for payments made via 1099?

My question was: Does US Immigration give E2 applicants greater credit for salaries paid via W2 that for payments made via 1099?

I wonder why this was moved from the immigration and visa section?
