hi all,

my i-129f is currently being processed somewhere in the bowels of the nsc, and i am flying out to visit my fiance in the us next week.

in case i run into problems with the ins at seattle airport over my intention to return to the uk after the planned nine days, and they think (heaven forbid) that i'm going to nab aaron and elope there and then, my personnel department at work has offered to give me a letter confirming my expected return to work on april 9th.

i was wondering then, what the best thing for this letter to say was? i can think of a few choice phrases, but really want it to be as official and just-what'll-convince-the-ins as possible.

any suggestions would be appreciated, including the daft ones, as goodness knows, my smile muscles appear to have forgotten how to operate lately.

your in anticpation,

kate (ukc) and aaron (usc)

I got my employer to write a letter for me the last time I visited my fiance.
it just stated the dates that i had booked leave form work and that i was under contract to return.
I didn't get asked any questions at the POE(DFW airport) other than if my trip was buiseness or pleasure and where i was staying--I wasn't aksed and I didnt' mention that I had a fiance in the US and didn't show them the letter-- didn't wan't to cause suspision tht wasn't necesary. i hope you have as eay time as I did
Sarah
