It makes one wonder if the IRS could deliver payments within a week in this instance, what is the hold up on some other refunds- though it seems much faster than state refunds.

They only have to check except your income for 2019 much easier than tax refunds where they have to check bunch of other stuff not least of which is if you owe them money.

I’m getting “not eligible” message too but we are as joint filers with a combined income under $150k. According to the Internet, a lot of people are seeing this message, apparently many of them used TurboTax to file their 2019 return (as it happens, so did we). If you look at the transcript you can see if you are getting a payment. Our shows we are getting it on January 18th.
