I'm missing something? I have known a lot of scrubbers (Don't tell my wife) in my time, max is $10 an hour. It's tax free. Are you talking freelance private cleaning (One body) person or from some fancy, arrive by company van "Maid On Wheels".

We've tried setting off CS gas tablets in their rooms, locking them in and telling them their not coming out until it's clean....what a waste of time that was

I live in Manhattan NYC, can't believe the $$$$ rate being quoted on here.
Hi TruBrit, Re, the cheap scrubbers. I've heard about them, but no personal experience.

Supply and demand. Huge demand, very little supply in the area.

No, no fancy company with the logo on the side of the van, just one very nice lady with a lovely selection of, me provided, cleaning supplies

I know this is gonna sound as a lame pathetic excuse, but I have quite bad asthma, and when I get into a full day of cleaning, with all the various cleaning stuffs, then I cannot breath too well (so a trip to the ER is WAAAAY more expensive than a cleaning lady do the needful)

And before anyone suggests a dust mask, then all I can say is, it just doesnt suit me, and I am also allergic to, elastic, dust preventing fabric and work (snort)

I want Rushman to come to my home for 2 weeks and drill my kids into the cleaning thing, because in general they are very tidy, but Rushman, I shall only be paying $20 per hour and no healthcare/petrol/manis/pedis etc

But again, I think Scottish Scivvies could take over the whole of the US, with the right price and the right accent (and y'all know what I mean, "my auntie/uncle/mum/dad/grandma/grandpa came from the UK thing).

Heres to small businesses

Make the maids dress in tartan, and say "fit like hen" alot

Oh My God, this is a market that needs to be tapped into

Skirlie's the limit (for those non Scottish people, translation would be Sky's the limit)
