Working outside US for over 60 days on H1B

Can an H1B employee work outside of US for over 60 days? I am working remotely from India for my company on H1B status. By my upcoming fly date, I will be in India for 55 working days and 72 total days. Will I face issues while re entering US because I would be outside of US on H1B for more than 60 days?

I don’t have my passport yet since it has gone for stamping and is not expected to arrive before I complete 60 total days outside of US.

No issues with that as long as your employer doesn't mind and you have a valid job to go back to in the US. Can max taxation complex though

thank you so much! Would I need to file an amended H1B and a new LCA? I read this online and am not sure if that’s the case.

Out of idle curiosity, why do you ask?
