Default Work from home in UK for US job

Hi everyone,

I currently live in the UK and I am 18. I am working for a US company in PA (for the past 2 years), but I work from home in the UK. I am an assistant manager and earn $9.75/hour. I work in customer service and billing. What are my chances of actually moving or living in the US for a few years?

I've looked around, but I am easily confused!

If your only way of obtaining a visa proves to be through work then sponsorship would be the only way. If you are only 18 you clearly dont have a degree, so the HB1 doesn't apply. Unfortunately for now your changes are likely to be negligible.

FYI - people without degrees have been successful with H1-B sponsorship, there are alternatives available to them.

Sorry to the OP, from what you have written the alternative is not applicable to your situation, it was just an fyi regarding the degree comment.

Obviously. I'm aware of the 12 years experience alternative, but didn't mention it because he's clearly not old enough!

It was just an FYI that the degree was not the only route to H1-B status, and I did end it with a disclaimer that it was not relevant to the OP.

I am not aware as to the extent of your knowledge on the subject but to be honest it was for other peoples benefits that i wrote my response. So that if someone without a degree ever were to read it then they would be aware that there are still options.

I do agree though he is clearly too young
