work abroad during conditional green card
Hi all,
I got my conditional GC on 12/2000, submitted my application for the
removal of the conditional status last 09/2002 and have received the
extension of my permanent residency for one more year until whenever
INS decides to interview us again or send me the real green card
(which of these is more likely btw?)
Anyway, there is a temporary job (1-2 year) opening in France that my
USC wife told me I should apply (she wants to go to Paris
) so the
question is, if I work in France for the next year or two, what would
happen to my GC status and application? If it has any relevance
perhaps I should mention too that I am not French.
