Will this work?

Hi,
I'm investigating ways to get a permanent visa for the US, one being through family sponsorship but i'm aware this will take 10yrs plus.
I have a family member who is willing to offer me a non skilled job, (even though i'm a skilled toolmaker) does anyone know is this enough to have a visa granted?

Thanks in Advance.

Malcolm.

Do a search on the criteria for eligibility for an H1B visa. See if the non-skilled job is in the list of acceptable jobs for granting the visa. If it is, he can apply for you...quota is filled for this year, he would have to file next April 2007 for you start work in October 2007.
