8am in Hartford in about 6 weeks time. That’s about 9 months after I submitted the N400, luckily no travel booked around then so I hopefully won’t have to reschedule unless something urgent comes up.

The letter posted up today about 36 hours after I got the notification email.

anyone with full-time students as children?
I am assuming that for the addresses in the last 5 years, the kiddoes will just write our home address for the time at Uni? Am i correct?

Received our US passports on Saturday.
In a way, this seems even more significant than the naturalization ceremony.
Next (and final) step is to update Social Security card.

what changes on the card or is it just the backend? I recall doing it from visa to GC, but now mine looks like all the others I see.

However, as I understand it, you still have to update SSA with change of status to citizen.

not looking forward to another visit there, although it was not as bad as the PPS office in Dublin when I moved there.

That's correct, if your card has no restrictions you'll keep it (they might ask why you didn't update it but I can't imagine getting any grief), they update your status on the PC, no confirmation or change of number etc, but you'll probably remember being in there because of the blasted wait. Not looking forward to going there again when I retire/ hit medi-something or other status in ten or fifteen years time.

Just been to the Social Security office with the missus. In and out in about 30 minutes for both of us. At lunchtime. Not too shabby.
Should get new card in 5-7 days.

Attended interview this afternoon in Atlanta. Anti-climatic to say the least.
Recommended for approval, oath likely to be in 40-60 days.
