I applied in Miami in December 2017.
Current estimated completion is May 2019, so that will be 18 months from start to finish, if it completes as scheduled.

I applied for mine (Online) in February, using the Chicago Field Office, Biometrics were scheduled fora couple of weeks later.
The Interview was scheduled for Mid September and the Oath Ceremony a week after that
If possible go for the Online Route, it's pretty simple and seems to be a little quicker than paper filing
Also my Estimated Completion Date was April 2019, so I became a Citizen much quicker.

6 months from beginning to end in San Jose CA earlier this year . Some FOs are much more predictable than others.

I'm in Tennessee, applied mid-July 2017 and did the biometrics at the end of August. Interviewed at the end of November, and took the oath on 18th January this year.

tl;dr - in our case the actual time was less than the minimum time on the processing times page, so not sure how reliable they are.
the times on there for Boston did not match the reality when we applied in Feb 2018. It said 5.5 to 18 months then, when we applied the actual estimate we got for our actual case was 9 months and in the end it was only 3. Suggested even the minimum in some locations are not realistic either.

I'm in Orange County, CA and applied February 27, 2018 and received my interview notice today for November 28th. My estimated completion date has always been December, 2018.

Tomorrow is my 3rd anniversary of arriving in the US, I had my biometrics a few weeks ago and the interview is scheduled for 19th November...

Orange County, Florida, applied March 2018 ceremony was 2 weeks ago so 8 months in total although timing projection was for 14 months.

I applied online in August. Estimated completion date? November... 2020. So 26 months. Do I win?!

Filed in May. Had biometrics in June. Got my interview letter today, scheduled for December 19 in Detroit. I’ve heard that there’s a chance the oath could happen that day if I get my trivia questions right.

Atlanta, GA. Applied in January 2018, Biometrics in February. Apparently they are still 'Actively' working on my case with an estimated completion time of July 2019. That would be 17 month in total to complete a 2 week FBI background check, schedule an interview, talk to me and schedule the oath ceremony.
Well - I guess there is no hurry. They can take as long as they like, just hoping its completed in time for the next presidential election
