Yes you could do this, but of course a Physiotherapy degree is three years long, and you have to have specific A Levels to get on most good degree programmes in this field unless you are a mature student who has experience in this field. So A Levels plus degree is 5 years, then you should have some work experience in the field as well to beat the other candidates. This goes for nursing as well.

Mind you - it still sounds quicker than UKZeus's path to Uncle Sam. What visa was that you waited 13 years for, UKZeus?? Presumably you were in the US while you were waiting?
