Default Where do I apply for long form UK birth certificate?

Ok probably a dumb question, but where or who do I apply to to get my long form UK
birth certificate? Also, how many will I need for the entire K1 to AOS process as I
have heard I may need a few, is this correct.

I got mine here :- http://www.statistics.gov.uk/nsbase/registration/CertE_W-
/other_certificate_obtain.asp

I got 3 and I still have 3. They ask to see the original generally but once they have
seen the original they take a copy for their files.

Hi,

The actual form you need to complete to obtain your long form birth certificate is on this page (URL below). It is referred to as the "full certificate".

http://www.statistics.gov.uk/registr...oads/birth.pdf

You'll need to provide information as it appears on your long form certificate otherwise there may be problems providing you with the document. No, this isn't as ridiculous as it sounds. I went in person to the Register Office for the borough of my birth in the UK and discovered that there were FIVE errors on my birth certificate.

Had I applied for my long form birth certificate in writing, I may have not gotten it at all.

I'm afraid I can't tell you how many copies of the BC you'll need.

Best of luck,
