Default When moving

I was just wondering if anyone knew the situation about moving and processing dates, I mean when you move, you let the old and new offices know etc, but does the new office then put your case at the bottom of the pile (with a new receipt date) or do they work on your case according to the original reciept date?

No good answer- depends on too many factors (Benefit sought, original office
handling your case, and the new office handling your case.) If the move
does not change your office, no change in priority. If your benefit goes
through NBC before it goes to the new office... Process should be by
original receipt date, but it varies by both offices. The delay may be due
to the old office not forwarding your files to the new one, but again, it
depends on the benefits you are seeking.
