Default whats the hold up

my usc wife and i ukc are living in the uk and we sent our papers to the london us embasy. We sent in the i-130 just over 8 wks ago and the £ sterling was extracted 7 wks ago & the OF-230 part 1 was recieved by the INS 6 wks ago and we havnt heard a dicky bird , Is this normal?& when are we likley to recieve our notice of action?.

You won't be receiving a NOA. You might want to call the Consulate to determine that your paperwork is in order and when you interview date is. They are user friendly, I understand, and you should be able to learn something by just calling.

Rete, Now I'm confused again, My timeline and circumstances are exactly the same as
Keith's. I was assuming that I would get the NOA with packet 3, and as per Keith, I
have not heard a "dicky bird" I did phone the help line the other day and at least my
daughter and I have been issued case numbers, but that's it I also thought at some
stage that they send you something requesting the 230 (which I did about a month ago)
and the OF-169, which until they receive, I can't be scheduled for an interview.

Had assumed that you had sent in the OF-169 as well as the OF-230. Didn't realize that you were awaiting package #3 from the US Consulate. My error. Did they give you a sense of when to expect the package in the mail?
